Technology news sites have revealed that Facebook is testing a new feature that enables users to know how many hours they spend on the most widespread social networking application.
According to the site, "Mashable", the application will provide users with accurate statistics on the timing of entry and exit, the advantage of the name "your time on Facebook."
The new feature is believed to be intended to remind users to take advantage of the Facebook application and to prevent them from spending long periods of time on it.

According to leaked images published by developers on the sites, the new feature shows the number of minutes spent by the user on the application, "Facebook" within a week, with the possibility to determine in advance that the application sends a notice to the user at the expiration of the time specified.
Facebook has not responded to requests to comment on its modernization, but this feature seems consistent with the company's new policies aimed at regulating user time.
Earlier this year, Google and Apple introduced similar features that help users monitor the time they spend on applications and their smartphones.
